Terms of Service — MemoryMate

Acceptance

By creating an account or using MemoryMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use MemoryMate. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Subscriptions & payments

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
Scheduled gift charges (Family plan and above) authorize us to charge your saved payment method on the schedule you set.

Family plans & shared content

You are responsible for the people, occasions, gift ideas, and wishlists you create and share. Do not invite people who haven't consented to having their information stored, and do not share content that is unlawful or violates someone's privacy.

Acceptable use

No illegal, abusive, harassing, or fraudulent activity.
No attempts to access other users' data without permission.
No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated abuse of the service.
No use of the AI gift idea features to generate harmful content.

AI features

Gift ideas and product images are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable. Always verify before purchasing.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users.

Disclaimers

MemoryMate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that reminders or scheduled charges will always be delivered on time, although we work hard to make sure they are.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoryMate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
